Testimonials
"We found ICAN Talk clinic the summer of 2013 and our life instantly changed for the better! Where we once felt lost and concerned that our son, Marco, would never be able to effectively communicate with us, we now had incredible hope for the future! The team in place for Marco is one that goes above and beyond their call of duty! Our little man is now finding his voice and we could not be happier or more proud."

"Jordan was actively engaged with activities showing a lot of spontaneous device use. His counselor was able to get Jordan motivated. Even when he was wanting to stop, he would come back to the activity with a smile and spontaneous device use. I was so impressed!"

"In Michigan, there are not a lot of opportunities for kids who use communication devices. There aren't a lot of people who know how to use them. It's been great for Joe!"

"I became acquainted with ICAN™ Talk Clinic and the AAC Institute through my work as an intervention specialist at Ohio Virtual Academy, and have been working with them for the past three years. The staff at the clinic is very knowledgeable in the field of speech-language pathology. They demonstrate true care of the individual as they work with each of their clients and will go more than “an extra mile” to assist each individual in their quest for communication. I am very grateful to have been able to work with everyone at ICAN™ Talk Clinic and the AAC Institute ,and have especially appreciated the time Dr. Katya Hill and I have been able to work together as she tirelessly works to bring the gift of speech to all she meets and works with."

"I wanted to let you know that the camp has made a huge difference for our family. Even just on the airplane ride home, JK was using his talker spontaneously to order his drink, say "excuse me", request his toys, and to request to go the bathroom. This doesn't sound like much but this is HUGE for him! He acted pretty stubborn during some of the activities and transitions but he learned so much while he was there. The camp was also very helpful for my mom and sister. They are both more familiar with the talker and now know how to use it even with simple things around the house to work on different language concepts!"
